More than 5,000 meal plan holders and others were served at this year’s OPERS Fall Fest. The event was relocated from the East Field (in order to protect the non-irrigated, drought-suffering grass) to the OPERS parking lot. Dining Services did a fantastic job of delivering quick, creative, and tasty meals to our hungry students.
Held annually on the Tuesday of Welcome Week, the Fall Festival is a resource fair for new students to learn about the activities and services offered at UCSC. Over 150 student groups, clubs, organizations, and campus offices have tables including Sports Clubs, Recreation Clubs, SOAR organizations, fraternities and sororities, Ethnic Resource Centers, Women's Center, Cantu GLBTI Center, Sustainability Office, Transportation & Parking Services, Student Health Center, and much more.
