Autumn has arrived and things are busy at Early Education Services (EES). This academic year, the first day of care was September 29th and 48 children, more than half of whom are returning students, entered the classrooms. As always, our first week was marked by transition as the children and our student parents each adjusted to new day-to-day childcare routines. EES encouraged visits by student parents with small children, for whom this first separation can be particularly difficult.

We are very happy to welcome new teachers Josefina Pimental and Roberta Marrazato to the staff here at Early Education Services. Immediately prior to opening, EES staff underwent several training sessions, including CPR/First Aid, Respect, Diversity and Communications with Parents and Children. Numerous improvements to the facility were made over the summer, including playground modifications, the installation of new sun shades, a thorough deep cleaning and reorganizations of each classroom. EES is looking good and enjoying the fall quarter!
